About Us

Boxclever has been in existence for many years, in fact, well over 50 years. Some of you have been with us for a large part of that time.

We are the largest national TV and domestic appliance rental company in the UK. We are an amalgamation of all the well-known brands such as Granada, Radio Rentals, Visionhire, Redifussion, DVR and DER.

Our operation is UK based. The Customer Care and Central Support Departments are based in Bedford, with our national warehousing and repair centre based in Wigan.

We are here when you need us, our opening hours are 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4.30pm Saturdays (we close during UK Bank Holidays).

Boxclever Values

Customer Charter

In addition to the Company Values, we have also produced a Customer Charter that outlines what you can expect from us and what we will do if we do not meet those expectations.

Our shared purpose as a business is to earn loyalty by putting our customers first.  To do this, we are committed to a set of key ‘Values’ which were defined in 2012 by both employees and management.  The core principles and behaviours are something which all our employees identify with, aspire to and operate within.  We have committed our ‘Values’ to paper and now wish to bring them to life, by sharing them with you, our customers.

At boxclever we take recycling seriously and strive to minimise our impact on the environment where possible.

We use the latest route planning software for our delivery fleet to ensure they are making each day’s journey via the shortest and most economical route as possible. When they arrive at your home and have completed the delivery we remove all the packaging for return to the depot and subsequent recycling. Wherever possible we reuse existing packaging rather than purchase new packaging to further reduce the impact on the environment.

Our field technical workforce also plays an important part in minimising their impact on the environment. Whenever possible they aim to repair a product during the visit so a second call to repair or replace a product is not required. Where replacement parts have been fitted to repair a product they will return any recyclable parts to the depot.

We believe rental is the ultimate form of recycling as products are refurbished for reuse wherever possible.
